Wollastonit is a natural Calciumsilicate that can form needle shape during its genesis. Wollastonite 90 is such a accicular wollastonite. Beside an excellent shape with high aspect ratio it has a high degree of whiteness. The needle shaped, acicular structure performs in a thick coating like a scaffold and has reinforcing properties. In corrosion protection systems Wollastonit 90 performs as an excellent passive anti-corrosion pigment.
